Our Mighty Moreporks room at Riverglow Early Learning Centre in Warkworth supports preschoolers as they learn, explore and develop confidence. It is a warm, engaging environment where children can enjoy their early years while preparing for their next steps towards primary school.

Meet the Mighty Moreporks team
Aunty Sham and Aunty Elaine support our Mighty Moreporks as they grow, learn and prepare for school.
Aunty Elaine also helps with management responsibilities at the centre. If you have questions or concerns and Denny is unavailable, you are welcome to speak with her.

Our curriculum is guided by children’s interests, strengths and needs, and remains aligned with Te Whāriki and our centre philosophy. Children have opportunities to explore, create, discover and ask questions through engaging and enjoyable learning experiences.
Preparing for school matters to us, and so does making the early childhood years meaningful, joyful and memorable. We support children’s growing confidence while giving them space to enjoy being children.
Celebrate the journey together
Riverglow is introducing Storypark to make it easier for families to connect with their child’s learning. Learning stories will share children’s interests and experiences, giving you opportunities to see and celebrate their learning.
Families will also receive newsletters, centre updates and important notices to stay connected with life at Riverglow.
